  1. I saw these guys in a ‘retro’ concert at a baseball field. They played with the Monkees. Yes. I saw the Monkees in concert. Saw the Grass Roots. I’m just wierd that way. LOL

  5. deoris, i too saw the monkeys live…at the singer bowl at the old world’s fair ‘campground’ in nyc some time in the 60’s…here’s the trivia question…who opened for the monkeys?

  6. dougk: creed was actually the lead guitarist — he’s the guy on the drummer’s right. you can totally tell it’s him when he gives a cute little eyeroll toward the end of his solo.
