Interview #1 down. Interview #2 tomorrow. I feel interview #1 went very well, but it’s so hard to tell sometimes.
I also understand that *someone* I know has never been turned down for a job he’s interviewed for. Never. As in, ever. And to that I say, “Pthhhhhhhh.” 😉
I’ve been lax in my reading, although I did just finish “All Families Are Psychotic” by Douglas Coupland, and I continue to enjoy him. A full review coming soon.
Tonight, I’m off to the Revitalize Buffalo meeting with Jen.
Hope everyone’s having a good week!
Yeah, *someone* told me that about himself, too. PFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTT!
Its hard to sell ones self to a company. As I was taught by my previous college, you must sell yourself be up right and tell them your the perfect person for the job.
Now if they stick you in front of a computer so they can “Profile” you, your good as dead.
Its sucks being so honest.
Never having interviewed for a job, I have nothing to say about that. But as always, if good wishes count for anything, you have lots of those coming from this direction.

Fingers crossed very, very hard for you! And don’t compare yourself to “someone”…I’ll wager your job situations aren’t the same, and neither is the job market. Maybe you just haven’t hit the right place yet, where the chemistry’s right, where you’ll make a good fit. It doesn’t mean it’s not out there.
Many hugs,
Debbie
What a terribly true book title 🙂 I may have to check that one out as well.
