Friday brain dump

It’s been a busy, busy week.

I had 70+ papers to grade…this was entirely my fault. I had collected the papers from two of my classes earlier, and should have gotten a jump on those before I even got the other batch. But, um…I didn’t.

Anyway, got ’em done. I get a little mini-break next week, as one of my schools is on Fall Break Monday and Tuesday. That means I only have two classes to teach on Tuesday instead of four. And those two classes will be doing peer review workshops, making for a relatively easy day for me.

Met up w/Jen for lunch on Wednesday. We went to Gabriel’s Gate, which is always a treat. I vote the Gate’s burgers and sandwiches best in the city. My favorite is the Arlington Street–grilled chicken breast with provolone cheese and a ridiculous amount of bacon. I add barbecue sauce as well. Mmmmm…

Last night, Rand and I watched the first two episodes of Heroes. I like it. (dammit…invested in another show.)

Today, I’ve been posting stuff for sale on Amazon and half.com. I haven’t had much success with ebay so far, but I’m probably going to try again. I’m also doing laundry. Woohoo.

No photo today, but over the weekend, I plan to post photos I took last week while making meatballs.

Oh, and I’m gonna put up a book blog post too. I swear. 😉

Happy Friday, all!
