I had a Tragic Fingernail Incident over the weekend.

I had stripped the bed to wash the sheets. I attempted to quickly move the comforter out of the way, and caught my finger on a loose thread on the mattress pad.

The thread this thing is stitched with is nylon. It’s heavy. Something had to give, and that something was my fingernail.

OW OW OW.

It could have been a LOT worse. It tore just far enough down on the nail bed to be painful. That was two days ago, and it’s healing well now.

I am such a wimp. 😉
