These are the best of what I got wandering around on Friday. I’ll get better descriptions up soon, but for now, you can check out the whole set at flickr:
I’m warm and safe and dry…although my apartment is still without power. (at least it was at 10 am…) Rand and I are visiting his parents for the day.
Keep checking in for updates…I’ll post them whenever I can!
Holy cow, that’s a lot of snow (for mid-October, anyway!). Hope you get power back on soon.
YIKES! I heard about this storm and thought of all y’all back in Buffalo…
Hope you have you power back on–
Sorry about not having the “R ” in the word ‘your; in my last e-mail.
But we are wondering if the power is on and you have heat. How are you keeping warm?
Somehow I’m under the assumption that the people in Buffalo can take any storm, of any size, at any time of the year. Three feet in July? No problem. Guess my assumptions were way off-base. Hope you have power again by the time you read this.
Thanks, everyone…
OE–if it had just been snow, we would have been able to handle it. It was the damage to the trees and hence the power lines that really wreaked havoc!
