Really. I miss the blog.

The restore situation is more complicated than it should be. Apparently, the instructions for restoring your database from backup are outdated. This is what Thomas tried to talk me through, but the phpMyAdmin page has changed. If anyone can offer assistance on this, I would be most grateful.

I’m having a hard time with this…I could be posting here, but it just doesn’t feel like home. And I don’t want to go through the effort to make it feel like home…I just want things back the way they were. Even missing two months.

And another thing…does anyone know why my pages in the theme editor are suddenly not writable? That’s pretty annoying.

In spite of how I sound right now, I’m really not so miserable. 😉

I had the chance to catch up with Stephanie (as well as her hubby and little one) today, which was really great. It had been way too long! I got a few cute photos of Alex, which I will post soon. It was too bad this visit coincided with Bloggercon. Sorry I missed you all!

Thanks to everyone who has emailed or commented about the blog. (henceforth, I shall be referring to this time as the Great Blog Tragedy of 2006.) I really do appreciate knowing that people care.
