Note to self

Dear erin-go-blog,

Next time you’re going to go traipsing about outdoors on a hot, sunny day, don’t forget the sunscreen.

It’s nice that your olive-toned skin doesn’t burn easily, but anyone who’s wandering around in the bright sunshine in the hottest part of the day is going to burn.

On the upside, it’s a good thing you decided against the halter. That would have been a disaster.

Love,

me

As sunburns go, it’s not really that bad. A bit on the back of my neck, and the very tops of my shoulders. But stupid. I know that these are the places that are going to burn if I burn at all.

The back of my neck is particularly annoying, because it’s right where the collar of my shirt hits.

But like I said, it’s annoying. It doesn’t really hurt (unless I do something dumb like rub or scratch there. ow!), and I’m sure it won’t last long.

I’m lucky, but I shouldn’t press my luck. Thankfully, my moisturizer has suncreen in it, so my face was spared.
