I don’t know which is worse…the news that I need to get a new alternator, or realizing that TiVo has failed me.
TiVo did not record last night’s episode of Veronica Mars. Why? I dunno. It just didn’t. And also? It doesn’t appear to be available for download on iTunes. Why? I dunno.
*Grumble*
Has it reached the limit of the number of shows it will record of Veronica Mars?
When I first got my TiVo I assumed that when I set the recording limit to 5, that it would always record the most recent and push the oldest one off. But no – if it’s got 5 and a new show comes on it just doesn’t record it!
TiVo is generally awesome, so the unintuitive nature of that feature was a surprise to me.
Anyway, I have no idea if that’s what happened to you, but thought I’d share a similar story of disappointment in TiVo.
(Cue Patton Oswalt saying “Bad TiVo!”)
There’s always bittorrant. Ping me on gTalk if you need assistance.
Alternatively, I could pull it down and put it where you could fetch it.
Alternator … ouch. Been there before. š
I see the episode (“There’s got to be a morning after …”) on iTunes now. You should also be able to see the episode via streaming audio on the CW website.
