Esther posted an excellent plea to save Veronica Mars. As you know, I agree with pretty much everything she said. Seasons one and two were absolutely brilliant TV. The theme song rocks, hard.
I have just one thing to add to her list: Jason Dohring’s character arc (as Logan) during season one was remarkable. I hated that spoiled, rich little punk with fiery passion at the beginning of the season, and by the end? My heart ached for him. That’s good TV.
I’m not holding my breath…I’ve had my hopes dashed on the rocks too many times…but it’s worth a shot. If you can, help out in the effort to Save Veronica!
Leave it to the idiots who program prime time TV to kill the cult shows to let other dreg and reality shows fill the air. The CW did this last year as they came down to a choice, run 7th Heaven for one last season after they filmed the first final episode or renew Everwood which still had a good two to three more seasons in it. They went the short sighted route and renewed something that they knew they would have to replace the following season. They could have hedged their bets and picked up half a season of Everwood to run when the inevitable crash of shows occured mid-season. They should have done the same with Veronica Mars. But the idiots at the network never were very smart, were they.
