So I just finished watching Season 1 of Veronica Mars. Holy CRAP.
I think those are the only words I have right now.
Holy crap.
I think I told someone privately that I haven’t felt this way about a show since the first two seasons of Alias. The last two episodes of the season were especially Alias-y. The last one even involved a wig. π
Okay. I need to go breathe now.
Hee!
You’re a VM addict now.
Welcome to the club.
“I think I told someone privately that I havenβt felt this way about a show since the first two seasons of Alias.”
I read it in your blog.
oops. π
Any thoughts on Logan? My wife is in love with him. I’m not going to go that far, but he had a fantastic character arc that season.
And in S2, Veronica Mars keeps up a tradition of casting 80’s acting stars as semi-regular characters.
Logan’s season 1 arc was the best character transformation I have ever seen. I went from hating his guts to completely rooting for him. Pretty impressive.
I admit, I loved the sneaky little “Clash of the Titans” bits thrown in. Hee! I can’t wait to watch season 2…
I *love* that show, and I really dig the opening theme song. We watched seasons 1 and 2 on DVD; Seanan got me promise to watch in exchange for her watching Firefly. π (It was so long after the promise that she actually *did* watch Firefly, that I’d almost forgotten I’d promised.)
Ironically, after I got hooked and then got Fishy hooked, neither of us has had time or attention to spare for season 3. We’re just always too busy or have other things more important to us, and we haven’t been able to watch them on Tony’s Tivo. I think probably we’ll end up waiting for season 3 to come out on DVD to, and then get that. And devour them all at once. That seems to be the way we handle most TV these days– get them either via DVD or bittorrent and then watch like 5 episodes at a time some evening. That was most fun with West Wing. π
